Towanda Porchfest Scholarship 2026
The Towanda Porchfest is a nonprofit group that was incorporated in 2024 to host the Annual Towanda Porchfest Event held in September. The mission of Towanda Porchfest is to promote community engagement through music, arts, and cultural events, foster local talent and creativity for artists, and enhance neighborhood connections in Towanda.
In 2026, the Towanda Porchfest group is offering a one-time $1,000 Scholarship to a Towanda High School Senior that shares the values of the Towanda Porchfest Mission either through their musical or artistic talents or demonstrates how they have served or improved our community.
This scholarship supports students pursuing a degree, with preference given to those with an interest in music or the arts, reflecting Towanda Porchfest’s mission.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a graduating senior of Towanda High School
- Must be accepted and enrolled in an accredited technical school, university, or college in the United States.
- Must be pursuing a degree with a preference in music or the arts.
- Write an essay (250-500 words, double-spaced). Tell us about your creative talents, and how you have contributed towards improving our community.
- Please provide a list of school-based activities (including leadership positions, clubs, and athletics) as well as community volunteer activities, and the number of months or years.
